Wired Google Search Console into a monthly content-gap pipeline (I approve → Claude Code writes).
Ran a full-portfolio GSC pull and got ~15 approve-first article ideas.
Set a No Brain James Beehiiv packet every 10 days (video + short copy + screenshots).
Locked an Upwork fit profile ($100+/hr bias, no crypto, under 30 hrs/week).
Added a weekday Upwork Daily Shortlist (max ~5 picks; I approve before Connects).
Submitted a real proposal from that shortlist.
Wrote living ops docs: BUSINESS-MAP + ABOUT-BROOKS.
Spun up AgentMail on mail.helpfulanalytics.com with a weekday sending warm-up.
Connected both personal Gmails for AI triage (left Jenn’s inbox alone).
Built an inbox model that fits me: Act + Glance + Do Later + Noise.
Added weekday 7:30 am Primary passes that only ping Needs-you items.
Auto Awaiting Reply stickers + a flag for threads older than 7 days.
Stopped chasing ~2,000 unreads — Primary-only on the real ~70-email working set.
Soft labels, top-level Do Later, and a documented email process.
Created Directory Labs for CPA-state and niche directory research.
Connected Ubersuggest MCP for keyword research.
Built a Gulf Coast Beach Vibes SEO pack: 20 outlined articles + KW notes.
Fixed sitemap cannibalization and replaced 6 conflicting topics with net-new ones.
Built a Helpful Analytics SEO pack with an 18-post backlog (real gaps, not GA4 clones).
Spun up SEO Research & Strategy and handed it GCBV + HA + monthly GSC.
Started a living backlink-submission list under SEO Research.
Added a twice-weekly Open Loops nudge.
Connected Slack for light team kickoffs (kept WhatsApp for humans).
Helped a friend get magnoliacemetery.com HTTPS working on Netlify.
Mapped his unused Hostek/SmarterMail email so he knows what he’s paying for.
Hard gates on everything: no buys, outsider email, or Connects spend unless I say go.

Pretty wild reading the above list, because I had already forgotten some of the items we set up.

And it sets up its own routines really easily.

I’m still a daily Claude Code user (still my daily driver) but I’ve now hired Grokbot to be a part of my team as well.

I see it the same as hiring a new employee for $100/mo. and setting them up with some work to do.

Update: I just turned in all financials to my CPA and we’re almost done with 2025 books, so all worked perfectly!
